The Ultimate Finnesser CHRIS BEY Wins Big at MECCA VIII To Become The NEW FSW MECCA GRAND CHAMPION

At FSW MECCA VIII – in the Main Event of one of the most star-studded events in FSW history – “The Ultimate Finesser,” IMPACT Wrestling Superstar, CHRIS BEY, defeated AEW Superstar, “The F’n Machine” BRIAN CAGE and FSW Heavyweight Champion, HAMMERSTONE, in a TRIPLE THREAT LADDER MATCH to become the NEW FSW MECCA GRAND CHAMPION !!!

THE FSW MECCA GRAND CHAMPIONSHIP – A GLORIOUS OMEN

Since its introduction at MECCA III in 2018, the FSW Mecca Grand Championship has proven itself to be somewhat of a “glorious omen” to the title’s bearer.

Coincidentally, the inaugural Mecca Grand Championship title match at MECCA III involved two familiar contenders in a familiar competitive scenario – as it was BRIAN CAGE vs CHRIS BEY vs JOHNNY MECCA (aka: John Morrison) in a Triple Threat Match to crown the inaugural FSW Mecca Grand Champion.

On that night, it would be JOHNNY MECCA (Morrison) who would capture Mecca gold and become the first-ever FSW MECCA GRAND CHAMPION. Coincidentally, Johnny Mecca’s main squeeze, TAYA VALKYRIE, would capture FSW gold herself in defeating (then) reigning title holder Heather Monrow to become the new FSW Women’s Champion.

THE GLORIOUS OMEN STRIKES . . .

However, within a year of his winning the FSW Mecca Grand Championship – and before he had the chance to defend his title – John Morrison would be re-signed to WWE. Great for Morrison . . . not so fortunate for FSW.

As such, Morrison would relinquish the Mecca Grand Championship – which, for a variety of unfortunate events, would remain vacant for over two years.

On February 4, 2022, however – at MECCA VII – the Mecca Grand Championship would once again be up for grabs. This time, it would be a “Clash of Titans” that would see former FSW Heavyweight Champion KEVIN “KILLER” KROSS vs “The Samoan Werewolf” JACOB FATU competing for the coveted Mecca Grand Championship belt.

And what a war it was . . .

When the smoke cleared and the dust settled, it would be KEVIN ‘KILLER” KROSS who would emerge victorious to become the second FSW MECCA GRAND CHAMPION.

THE GLORIOUS OMEN STRIKES AGAIN . . .

History, however, would soon repeat itself. Within six months into his new Mecca Grand Championship reign – and before he would have the opportunity to defend his title – Kevin “Karrion” Kross would be re-signed to WWE. Once again, great for Kross . . . not so fortunate for FSW.

As such, the FSW Mecca Grand Championship would, once again, be vacated without a Champion.

This time, however, the wait would not be long . . .

A NEW HOPE . . .

October 23, 2022 . . . Las Vegas, NV . . . MECCA VIII . . . It would be three FSW Heavyweight Champions – three FSW LEGENDS – vying for Mecca Grand Championship Gold.

All three had faced the others before. All three had won championships from the others. At MECCA VIII, however, it would be the first time all three would be in the same ring at the same time competing for the same championship gold.

It would be former FSW Heavyweight Champion, “The F’n Machine” BRIAN CAGE vs “The Ultimate Finesser” CHRIS BEY vs current FSW Heavyweight Champion HAMMERSTONE in a TRIPLE THREAT LADDER MATCH for the FSW Mecca Grand Championship.

All three top-echelon competitors had words for their opponents leading into this epic confrontation . . .

“MAIN EVENT” doesn’t even begin to describe the epic levels this title match reached as each FSW Legend was focused and determined to add the Mecca Grand Championship title to their respective legacy – a title neither competitor had previously held.

In the end, one MECCASTAR would overcome seemingly insurmountable odds and climb the ladder at center ring to grasp the FSW Mecca Grand Championship Title belt – further and forever solidifying his FSW legacy. The Ultimate Finesser CHRIS BEY is the NEW FSW MECCA GRAND CHAMPION !!!

After a hard-fought – and well-deserved- victory, the new FSW Mecca Grand Champion addressed the FSW Meccaverse – assuring everyone that he intends to “stick around” and be their FSW Mecca Grand Champion for a long time. Bey then promised to defend his championship against ANY and ALL comers who want to challenge for the title.

Within seconds of Bey delivering his pledge, an all too familiar voice – and face – appeared on the JefeBet Event Center’s video screens . . . .
