Danny Limelight Returns
Former MLW World Tag Team Champion, Danny Limelight, Returns to FSW
Danny Limelight made his Professional Wrestling debut back in 2014 and made quite a name for himself on the independent wrestling circuit. Over the last few years, however, Limelight has appeared on major promotions such as AEW, IMPACT, GCW, NJPW, and MLW.
Limelight last appeared at FSW on March 5 2022 at FUTURESHOCK – when he called out and confronted then FSW No Limits Champion, JAI VIDAL.
Limelight was born and raised in Brooklyn New York. As he was growing up a wrestling fan, Danny Limelight much like everyone else had influenced them and helped shape their career. Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson played an integral part in his career. Johnson’s persona was larger than life and Limelight states that he wanted to be just like him.
At the age of 17, Limelight joined the United States Marine Corps and traveled the world for 10 years as a Marine. He became a Marine Corps Drill Instructor and helped mold over 350 U.S. Marines.
In 2014, Limelight began his journey to become a Professional Wrestler. Although Limelight’s early training wasn’t the most memorable for him, seeking out and finding the proper training facility and coaches, Limelight learned with and along with the likes of John Hennigan, Mariachi Loco, Lil Cholo, Jake Atlas, Jungle Boy, Luchasaurus, and Los Luchas. Limelight also attended multiple EVOLVE seminars involving the likes of Adam Cole and Roderick Strong – constantly soaking in information and grateful for everyone that had provided him with advice along the way.
With a self-described “versatile” style, Limelight compliments his grappling and striking skills with an arsenal of assaults like no other – crediting his abilities to ‘radioactive genes’.
