FSW DAY OF RECKONING on FITE+ Results: April 30 2023
FSW’s Debut on FITE+ Hits HOME RUN – With Tremendous Matches, Twists & Turns
Future Stars of Wrestling (FSW) debuts on FITE+ in front of a capacity crowd in Las Vegas, NV at DAY OF RECKONING.
The action begins with an exclusive PRE-SHOW match
PRE-SHOW
KEVIN KOA (w/MK) vs JIMMY JACK
Accompanied by his devious MK Army General, MK, “The Killer Instinct,” KEVIN KOA once again entered the FSW Arena looking to decimate anyone and everyone standing in his way. This night, however, Koa would find himself standing toe-to-toe with one of FSW’s up-and-coming juggernauts in JIMMY JACK.
(Photo Courtesy of G Scoop Boxly)
Koa began the match living up to his “killer instinct” name – viciously attacking the formidable Jimmy Jack to gain an early advantage. Feeding off of the energy of the FSW Meccaverse in attendance, Jimmy Jack would muster an impressive recovery and counter-attack of his own with a series of power strikes and slams. However, outside interference by the sinister MK would distract Jack just long enough for Koa to deliver a vicious power slam upon Jimmy – earning Koa the pinfall win.

RESULTS: Kevin Koa def Jimmy Jack
FSW DAY OF RECKONING exploded onto FITE+ with nothing less than a TITLE MATCH for the FSW Tag Team Championship.
FSW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
LIGHTS CAMERA FACTION© vs WEST COAST WRECKING CREW
Former 3x FSW Tag Team Champions ROYCE ISAACS and JOREL NELSON – collectively The WEST COAST WRECKING CREW (formerly known as “The One-Percent”) – return to the FSW Arena after a three-year absence looking to reclaim FSW Tag Team gold. Standing in their way, and accompanied by Faction compadre ACTION BRAXTION, the recently crowned FSW Tag Team Champions FRESCO and WATSON – collectively LIGHTS CAMERA FACTION.
(Photo Courtesy of G Scoop Boxly)
The action begins with Jorel Nelson squaring off against Watson – with each powerhouse competitor trading blows and vying for the early advantage. An unnoticed (by Nelson) tag by Fresco onto leads to a “low bridge” rope maneuver – sending Nelson to the FSW Arena floor and allowing for a two-on-one ringside floor attack by Fresco and Braxton (with the Referee distracted by Isaac’s vehement protests).
With Nelson back in the ring, Watson & Fresco execute a coordinated attack with a series of quick tags. Wrenching his way out of full-nelson hold by Fresco, Nelson uses the ropes to land a powerful cross-body slam onto Fresco – allowing both Nelson and Fresco the opening to reach their respective corners and tag in their tag partners – with Wrecking Crew’s, Isaacs, plowing through both Watson and Fresco.

After a myriad of near pinfalls – and in what would have otherwise been a most impressive and relatively evenly-matched contest between two powerhouse teams, Lights Camera Faction would once again utilize their numbers game advantage when Action Braxton jumped up onto the ring apron to distract Referee Amber long enough for Fresco and Watson to strike down Issacs and Nelson with their Tag Team Title belts and secure the pinfall victory to retain their FSW Tag Team Championship.

RESULTS: Lights Camera Faction def West Coast Wrecking Crew
HERO LEU vs CHE CABRERA
Next up would be the first singles outing for “The Samoan Goblin” HERO LEU since he and his Tag Partner, SHOGUN, lost the FSW Tag Team Titles to Lights Camera Faction on March 26 2023 at MECCA XI. His opponent would be one-half of the multi-title holding WOLF ZADDIES, longtime FSW competitor, CHE CABRERA. With Hero Leu looking to, once again, prove himself as a formidable singles competitor, and Cabrera looking to score a win toward boosting he and his longtime Tag Team partner, TITO ESCONDIDO, up the FSW Tag Team Titles contender list, the need for a win made both athletes very determined . . . and very dangerous.
(Photo Courtesy of G Scoop Boxly)
It was truly a case of “an irresistible force” against “an immovable object” – with both Leu and Cabrera unleashing a series of power assaults to try to wind or weaken their opponent enough to secure the Referee’s full three-count. Ultimately, it would be a quickly executed devastating spear by Hero into Cabrera’s gut that would stun the veteran long enough for Hero to earn the pinfall win.

RESULTS: Hero Leu def Che Cabrera
FIVE-WAY SCRAMBLE
DANTE KING vs JORDAN OASIS vs CHRIS NASTY vs JORDAN CRUZ vs BODHI YOUNG PRODIGY
Next on the #DayOfReckoning card would be a Five-Way Scramble between five fierce competitors of varying sizes and styles – but all with the common goal of utter domination and victory. With all five competitors in the ring, the unpredictably maniacal JORDAN OASIS immediately launched a targeted charge at FSW’s 16-year-old high-flying phenom, BODHI YOUNG PRODIGY. This calculated strategy would paint a big target on Oasis’ back as a threat that needed to be eliminated.
(Photo Courtesy of G Scoop Boxly)
Each competitor reached deep into their respective bag of tricks as they “scrambled” to stun and confuse any given opponent to snatch a quick and decisive victory. Not surprising to anyone who has been following FSW over the past year, highlighting the fast and furious action throughout the match was the incredible high-risk maneuvering of Bodhi Young Prodigy – taking out multiple opponents with his dazzling skill set.
(Photo Courtesy of G Scoop Boxly)
Jordan Oasis continued to utilize his size and strength to manhandle his opponents – at one point tossing CHRIS NASTY out of the ring like a sack of potatoes and executing his signature cannonball senton assault upon DANTE KING.
With all of the fast and furious action occurring both in and out of the ring, it would ultimately be “The Modern Spartan,” JORDAN CRUZ, catching Dante King with a quick and skillful firemans carry michinoku driver maneuver to put away King and score the pinfall victory.

RESULTS: Jordan Cruz pins Dante King
SHOGUN vs TITO ESCONDIDO
Next up would be another singles challenge for the other half of the former FSW Tag Team Champions, “Rich Homie” SHOGUN, since he and his Tag Partner, HERO LEU, lost the FSW Tag Team Titles to Lights Camera Faction on March 26 2023 at MECCA XI. His opponent would be the other half of the multi-title holding WOLF ZADDIES, longtime FSW competitor and NJPW Superstar, TITO ESCONDIDO.
(Photo Courtesy of G Scoop Boxly)
Once again, two evenly matched powerhouse athletes who spent the better part of the first several minutes of the matchup sizing each other up to try to figure out any potential weakness to exploit.
It wouldn’t take long, however, for Tito’s Wolf Zaddie partner, Che Cabrera, to come out and try to insert his undue influence into the match.
(Photo Courtesy of G Scoop Boxly)
The distraction and unpredictable interference of Cabrera at ringside provided the opportunistic advantage Escondido was looking for.
Despite what was quickly becoming a makeshift handicap match – with the numbers not in Shogun’s favor – the former Tag Team Champion continued to dig deep to find the inner drive and strength he needed to try to diminish Excondido’s advantage. But when Cabrera pulled a steel chair out from under the ring to use against Shogun, out ran Shogun’s TBD partner, HERO LEU, to thwart the Zaddies’ efforts and exact some “level playing field justice” of his own.
(Photo Courtesy of G Scoop Boxly)
However, that is not the way Shogun wanted to win the match. Despite Shogun’s protests, Hero held a locked-and-loaded tight grasp on the steel chair. As Shogun tried to pry the chair out from Leu’s grasp, Hero suddenly released the chair causing Shogun to abruptly snap forward with the chair – striking an approaching Tito Escondido in the process within sight of Referee Cody Andrews – resulting in Andrews calling for the bell, disqualifying Shogun, and declaring the winner Tito Escondido.
As if tensions between Shogun and Hero Leu weren’t already high – and although well intended – Hero’s involvement and actions cost Shogun an important victory – throwing another monkey wrench into any potential reconciliation between the former Tag Champs.

RESULTS: Tito Escondido def Shogun via DQ
GRUDGE MATCH
MATT VANDAGRIFF vs JAI VIDAL
Perhaps the most apropos match of DAY OF RECKONING, the rivalry between IMPACT Wrestling sensation (and FSW Wall of Fame’r) JAI VIDAL and “The Aerial Chemist,” MATT VANDAGRIFF – former friends and both former multi-time FSW No Limits Champions – has evolved from mutual respect to devolving into bitter disdain within the course of a year.
The question on everyone’s mind is . . . would TONIGHT be the final decisive battle of this long drawn-out war between two of the most dynamic (and dangerous) competitors in Professional Wrestling?
(Photo Courtesy of G Scoop Boxly)
Unleashing a flurry of enraged elbow strikes, forearm blows, knee jabs, and roundhouse kicks, Vandagriff made it clear early on that he has had enough of Vidal’s brand of deception and antagonism – and that he intended to put a decisive end to his year-long rivalry with Vidal once and for all.
(Photo Courtesy of G Scoop Boxly)
Perhaps allowing his rage to overly affect his focus, Vandagriff would soon be reminded of just how unpredictably formidable Jai Vidal truly is as Vidal quickly turned the tables on Vandagriff with his own series of vicious assaults.
(Photos Courtesy of G Scoop Boxly)
The fight continued on with both Vidal and Vandagriff unleashing and absorbing incredibly brutal assaults from the other. While both Vidal and Vandagriff are known for their unique aerial attack maneuvers, this match was (by in large) a nose-to-nose brawl between two athletes with no love loss for the other. Nevertheless, both Vandagriff and Vidal would eventually utilize their respective deep skill sets to try to gain an advantage.
In a frantic frenzy of table-turning covers – from which both Vandagriff and Vidal repeatedly kicked out before the Referee’s third count – it would ultimately (and unexpectedly) be Vidal who would daze Vandagriff just long enough to hold his shoulders down for the full three-count and match victory.
(Photo Courtesy of G Scoop Boxly)
Given the long-standing rivalry between Vidal and Vandagriff – spanning more than half a dozen main event level matches with each earning victories over the other – Vidal’s shockingly quick rollup pinfall left Vandagriff both stunned and visibly frustrated.
It’s safe to surmise that the saga of Vidal vs Vandagriff is FAR from over.
RESULTS: Jai Vidal def Matt Vandagriff
TAG TEAM MATCH
DEVIN RENO & C.L.A.S. vs PRIMOHENIO & REMY MARCEL
Next up would be Tag Team action as the duo of “Power Privilege & Class (PP&C),” DEVIN RENO and CHRISTOPHER LANDON ANTHONY STREETER (C.L.A.S.) strut into the FSW Arena to take on the team of PRIMOHENIO and FSW Legend, “The 86’er” REMY MARCEL.
After an initial shoving exchange between the two teams, Reno and CLAS tried to jump Primo and Marcel while their backs were turned. Unfortunately for the “privileged ones,” Primo and Remy were having none of it and turned just in time to stop PP&C in their tracks and put them in their place.
(Photo Courtesy of G Scoop Boxly)
With a clear disregard for sportsmanship, Reno and CLAS began a coordinated campaign of distractions and dirty tricks to gain the upper hand over Remy Marcel – utilizing the Referee’s distraction in keeping a frustrated Primohenio from entering the ring to try to help his partner (without being tagged in) to double-team Marcel in their corner. With Primo trapped in his corner, CLAS and Reno implemented a quick series of tags to continue their beatdown of The 86’er – while arrogantly taunting the FSW Fans in attendance.
PP&C’s onslaught continued until the wily veteran, Marcel, found the opening he needed to reach his eagerly awaiting tag partner, Primohenio – who wasted no time unleashing all of his pent-up frustration and wrath upon “the privileged pair.”
In an act of desperation, Devin Reno grabbed a steel chair from ringside with a look of devious intent. At that point, JORDAN CRUZ emerges from the back with his eyes targeted on his longtime nemesis, Devin Reno. Taking advantage of the momentary distraction, Primohenio quickly snatches Reno into a roll-up pin to earn the match victory for he and Remy Marcel. After the bell, Primo, Marcel, and Cruz stood together in the center of the ring to celebrate the victory.
(Photo Courtesy of G Scoop Boxly)
RESULTS: Primohenio & Remy Marcel def Devin Reno & C.L.A.S.
After the match, Primohenio, Remy Marcel, and Jordan Cruz continued to celebrate in the ring. Cruz picks up the steel chair Devin Reno had left in the ring and pointed it at Reno & C.L.A.S. at ringside. But then, with a shocking twist, Cruz rammed the steel chair into the unsuspecting midsections of both Primo and Marcel – following up by smashing Remy Marcel’s throat into the edge of the chair.
Despite months and months of The Modern Spartan refusing to entertain the incessant pursuit and repetitive offers of Reno & CLAS, it appears that Jordan Cruz has finally made the decision to direct his destiny as part of Professional Wrestling’s newest – and undeniably dangerous – stable of POWER PRIVILEGE & CLAS.

FSW NO LIMITS CHAMPIONSHIP
DANNY LIMELIGHT© vs JAKOB AUSTIN YOUNG
It’s been seven long years since JAKOB AUSTIN YOUNG (JAY) held the prestigious FSW No Limits Championship – and while he has co-held the FSW Tag Team Titles on multiple occasions – most recently with his long-time friend (and sometimes nemesis) CUTTHROAT CODY CROFT – the pursuit of singles championship gold has, thus far, eluded the FSW Legend.
After months of the FSW No Limits Champion, DANNY LIMELIGHT, ducking and dodging the inevitable championship clash with Jakob Austin Young, it was finally time for The Radioactive Papi to put up or shut up.
(Photo Courtesy of G Scoop Boxly)
After a short-lived face-off at center ring, Limelight and JAY begin unleashing flurries of forearm strikes upon one another – with JAY gaining the early advantage as he nearly knocks Limelight off his feat. Limelight quickly counters with a low strike to JAY’s knee followed by a hard-hitting roundhouse kick to JAY’s spine. With a full tank of purpose and adrenaline, however, JAY is quickly back to his feet to unload upon Limelight – both in and out of the ring.
Outside of the ring, JAY continued to unleash upon Limelight – delivering several hard-hitting chops and driving Limelight’s face into the iron guardrail. But with a quick-witted rake of JAY’s eyes, Limelight turns the tables back in his favor as he tosses JAY’s body into another guardrail and, eventually, back into the ring where Limelight pummels JAY’s battered body with an unrelenting series of kicks and stomps to JAY’s hands.
It would become a true test of strength and stamina as both JAY and Limelight left nothing to chance as they battled back and forth – each throwing everything they had at the other with all the fury they could muster. Nearly 10 minutes into the match, JAY dug deep to deliver a brutal knee strike/roundhouse kick combination to Limelight’s head, stunning Limelight long enough to deliver a devastating hurricane DDT upon Limelight in the center of the ring. The No Limits Championship appeared to be within JAY’s reach.
With regaining the No Limits Title in sight, JAY drug Limelight to the corner top rope and executed an arena-shaking spinebuster suplex. But before JAY could put Limelight away, a thunderous noise was heard from the backstage area – the cause of the noise would soon be revealed as JAI VIDAL emerged dragging a badly battered and bruised BODHI YOUNG PRODIGY in tow. (JAY and Bodhi had recently teamed up as Tag Team Partners against Limelight and his BODEGA brother, SLICE BOOGIE).
(Photo Courtesy of G Scoop Boxly)
The shocking distraction was exactly what Limelight needed – snatching and submitting a visibly shocked JAY with a vice-grip sleeper hold from which there was no escape.
RESULTS: Danny Limelight def Jakob Austin Young via submission
After the match, the devilishly defiant duo of Limelight and Vidal admired the fruits of their plan as they gleefully stood over the beaten bodies of Jakob Austin Young and Bodhi Young Prodigy.
Having seen enough, IMPACT Wrestling Superstar (and FSW Hall of Famer) KENNY KING – who had been sitting in as a Guest Commentator – stepped up and into the ring to chase off Limelight and Vidal.
FSW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP – NO HOLD BARRED
ICE WILLIAMS© vs NIC ZANDER
The culmination of the last three years of blood, sweat, and tears would come to fruition tonight for “The Heartbeat,” NIC ZANDER as he vies for the top prize in FSW – the FSW Heavyweight Championship against the current champion – and the man who screwed Zander out of his title opportunity at HIGH OCTANE on March 4, 2023 via purposeful disqualification – “The Coldest Champion On The Planet” ICE WILLIAMS.
The difference this time was that Williams’ Lights Camera Faction (LCF) comrades are BANNED from ringside – and if any member of LCF interferes in the match in any way, Williams will lose the FSW Heavyweight Title. Moreover, this match would be NO HOLDS BARRED – which meant no easy-out via win-by-disqualification for Williams this time.
Tonight, we go No Holds Barred! What do you think I’m going to do to show the world I can be FSW Heavyweight Champion? What do you think I’ll put my body through … my mind through? Every ounce of me is going to be left out there in the ring, like it always is. Do you feel that?.
Much like how their last match ended, Williams started the match resorting to underhanded tactics as he ambushed Zander before introductions were even finished.
(Photo Courtesy of G Scoop Boxly)
While Williams was gloating to the crowd over his “clever” sneak attack, Zander was able to collect himself and returned the favor – unleashing a barrage of knife-edge chops, forearm strikes, and ultimately dropkicking Williams out of the ring. With Williams visibly stunned, Zander laid chase to Williams outside of the ring – smashing Williams’ face against iron guardrails on three different sides of the ring before tossing Williams back into the squared circle.
Zander continued his onslaught upon Williams – delivering another chin-shattering dropkick followed by a savage tequila-sunrise suplex. Feeding off of the “heartbeat” energy of the FSW Fans, Zander began mercilessly stomping Williams in the ring corner. As he was about to deliver a final gut busting stomp, Williams kicked and connected with a low blow to Zander . . . perfectly legal in a No Holds Barred match. It was the break Williams needed to turn the tables and put a stopper in Zander’s would-be advantage.
With Zander incapacitated in the middle of the ring, Williams pulled a steel chair out from under the ring and began to viciously obliterate Zander with it.
Williams continued his onslaught upon Zander – dragging Zader out onto the FSW Arena floor, raking his face against one of the iron guardrails, and slamming Zander onto the steel-enforced outer ring. With Zander writhing in pain in the ring, Williams grabs a belt from someone in the Arena crowd – which he uses to brutally whip and choke Zander.
In an act of desperation, Zander uses the weight of his body to smash Williams into several ring corner turnbuckles before, again, using his body weight momentum to fling Williams head-and-shoulder first into the ring post. With Williams dazed, Zander grabs the steel chair Williams had left in the ring and proceeds to use it to “do-onto-Williams-as-Williams-did-onto-him.” Zander then sees and picks up the belt Williams had used to whip and choke him and proceeds to, once again, “do-onto-Williams” – with interest.
Intent on inflicting as much pain and punishment upon Williams as possible, Zander begins to pull out and toss multiple steel chairs into the ring. Pulling Williams back into the ring, Zander tries to set Williams up for a backbreaking suplex onto the pile of chairs. While Zander naively signals his intent to the crowd, Williams quickly snatches Zander and superbombs Zander onto the chairs. Leaving Zander laying lifeless in the ring, Williams fetches a bag of frozen ice chunks from the Timekeeper’s table and empties it onto the ring mat. Williams positions Zander for a front-faceplant onto the solid ice chunks, but Zander manages to dig deep and flip Williams overhead onto the unforgiving chunks of ice.
(Photo Courtesy of G Scoop Boxly)
From their knees to their feet, Zander and Willams begin trading forearm blows. Zander delivers an on-target savant kick – sending Willams out of the ring and onto the Arena entrance ramp. Out on the ring apron, Zander lines up a dazed-and-confused Williams and executes an incredible aerial cutter.
(Photo Courtesy of G Scoop Boxly)
In what was nearly a “Last Man Standing” match, it took several minutes for both Williams and Zander to regain composure enough to drag themselves back into the ring. Williams tries to low-blow Zander again, but Zander deflects and counters with a kick to Williams’ gut and quickly maneuvers Williams into a seated piledriver. Zanders covers, but Williams manages to raise his shoulder before the Referee’s three count. Sensing his championship could be in jeopardy, a battered and bruised Williams rolls himself out of the ring to try to evade an adrenaline-charged Zander.
Like a predator hunting its prey, Zander pursues, pounces, and positions Williams’ body across a wooden door propped like a tabletop across two chairs. Zander then climbs to the top of the FSW Arena stands and launches himself out and onto Willams – and through the door.
With the FSW Heavyweight Championship in his sights, a bruised Zander musters what energy he has left to try to get Williams back into the ring. Turning his back for a brief moment to acknowledge the capacity crowd cheering him on, Zander doesn’t see Williams grab another steel chair from ringside. Williams smashes the steel chair on Zander’s back.
Williams tosses Zander back into the ring and annihilates Zander with his signature “Ice Breaker” superkick to Zander’s face – followed by a second Ice Breaker to the back of Zander’s skull – allowing Williams to cover Zander for the three count to successfully retain his FSW Heavyweight Championship.

RESULTS: Ice Williams def Nic Zander
After the match, “The Coldest Champion on the Planet” stood over the fallen Zander – taunting him with the FSW Heavyweight title belt and, adding insult-to-injury, arrogantly proclaiming that Zander is not ready to be a champion.
