WHO’S NEXT? – Jai Vidal’s Futureshock No Limits Open Challenge Continues

Who Will Be Next To Accept Jai Vidal’s Futureshock Open Challenge for the FSW No Limits Title?

Jai Vidal FSW Futureshock No Limits Open Challenge

To say that FSW Superstar, JAI VIDAL, is enjoying a stellar 2022 thus far would be a monumental understatement.  Not only did Vidal ring in 2022 with a BANG on December 31 at FSW NEW YEARS RESOLUTION by defeating The Ultimate Finesser, CHRIS BEY, to win the FSW No Limits Championship, but he has been on an incredible undefeated streak since then – including a most impressive victory against three other top competitors in a Fatal Four-Way match at FSW MECCA VII.

A BRIEF STEP AWAY FROM THE LIMELIGHT

At the start of the March 5 2022 FUTURESHOCK event, Jai entered the FSW Arena in his street clothes – regrettably advising the FSW Meccaverse that, due to a recent injury he sustained defending his PCW Ultralight Title, he was not yet medically cleared to compete.  Never the one to let an advantageous opportunity pass him by, The Radioactive Papi, DANNY LIMELIGHT, interrupted Vidal’s announcement and began to accuse the FSW No Limits Champion of feigning injury so he could avoid having to put the title up for grabs against Limelight that night.

Much to Limelight’s chagrin, Jai had come prepared with a certified Doctor’s note confirming his “Not Medically Cleared To Compete” status.  Nevertheless, Vidal assured Limelight that after he’s been cleared, he would be more than happy to face Limelight for the No Limits Title.

FUTURESHOCKER – APRIL 9 2022 . . .

At the April 9 2022 FUTURESHOCK event, a now medically cleared Jai Vidal once again addressed the FSW Meccaverse center ring . . . but this time, Vidal had a far different announcement to make.

Vidal announced that the several weeks he was involuntarily sidelined were far too long for his taste and he intends to live up to his promise to be a fighting FSW No Limits Champion.  Vidal, therefore, announced that effective immediately, he is instigating his FUTURESHOCK NO LIMITS OPEN CHALLENGE to/for anyone on the FSW Roster – with each challenge being

for the FSW NO LIMITS CHAMPIONSHIP TITLE.

That was all a particular maniacal opportunist needed to hear.  Some familiar entrance music began to play and, with Vidal keeping his gaze on the main entrance and whom he assumed would be his first open-challenge opponent, the crazed LAZARUS attacked Vidal from behind with a series of brutal strikes and kicks – culminating with Lazarus striking Vidal square on his face with the No Limits Title belt, leaving Vidal battered and bleeding in the ring.

To no one’s surprise, it was then announced that Jai Vidal’s first Futureshock No Limits Open Challenge match would be against Lazarus in the Main Event.

From the start it was clear to the FSW Fans that this was not going to be just another wrestling match … this was going to be a WAR.   Vidal wasted no time unleashing his rage upon Lazarus with a series of strikes and kicks that should have knocked Lazarus into the next county.  But as was seen earlier in the evening, there’s an unnatural force within Lazarus that drives his unpredictable arsenal of abilities – and the crazed creature wasn’t going down so easily.  The fight overflowed outside the ring multiple times – with both men slamming each other against the iron guard rails on multiple occasions.

Unfortunately, Lazarus failed to plan his Futureshock strategy properly and clearly overlooked the fact that Jai Vidal is the Protege’ of a Vampire Warrior – having been trained by former WWE superstar, Gangrel … training that proved to serve Vidal well as he dug deep into his darkness to dissect and defeat his lunatic opponent.  Vidal found the opportunity he needed – twisting Lazarus into his patented Power Bottom Bomb to pin Lazarus and end the battle.

WHO’S NEXT? – FUTURESHOCK – MAY 7 2022 . . .

With the FSW Meccaverse chomping at the bit to find out who would be next to step up to the plate to accept Jai Vidal’s Open Challenge, the cool and confident FSW No Limits Champion entered the FSW Arena at the May 7 2022 FUTURESHOCK event and opened the door for the next Future Star of Wrestling contender . . .

Out walks “Dash of New Skool” DAVION JACOT, one of FSW’s most dynamic and confident newcomers – so much so that he unapologetically took on, arguably, one of the most experienced and dangerous FSW Legends, FUNNY BONE, just two months prior.

Despite having less than a dozen matches under his belt (to date),  Davion exploded out of the gate with a determination to prove himself – not only to his No Limits Champion opponent and the championship opportunity at hand, but to the FSW Meccaverse watching in the FSW Arena and via the FSW Network.   At several points throughout the match, the young Jacot came very close to earning the unexpected upset and becoming the youngest No Limits Champion in FSW history – certainly to the repeated shock of the more experienced Jai Vidal.

Ultimately, Vidal’s experience and in-ring prowess would prove too much for the Future Future Star of Wrestling – with Vidal putting Davion away with a powerful sitting powerbomb for the 1-2-3.

A BIG TARGET ON HIS BACK

There’s a lot to admire about FSW’s current/reigning No Limits Champion, Jai Vidal – his courage, his integrity, his tenacity. But one has to wonder if his decision to “leave the door unlocked” with an open challenge for his FSW No Limits Title is a wise one. With not only an FSW Locker Room loaded with hungry talent, but an entire Pro Wrestling industry now on notice of Vidal’s open challenge and willingness to put up his title against anyone at any Futureshock event, Jai Vidal has voluntarily affixed a HUGE target on himself that many title-hungry hunters will be setting their sites on.

So The Question Continues To Be  . . .

WHO WILL JAI VIDAL’S NEXT NO LIMITS OPEN CHALLENGER BE?
